What We Do

At Masa Seattle, we aim to inspire Jews on the fringe of communal life to discover the deep and meaningful joys of Judaism by creating intimate, informal and judgment-free gatherings for Jewish learning and living.

Celebrate Jewish Time

We believe time, rather than space, is sacred. Your time is a precious and limited resource. We are very intentional with how and when we mark sacred time. With every Shabbat and holiday we celebrate together, we strive to create

opportunities for learning, inspiration and personal growth.

Create Connection

Creating deep and meaningful connections is "baked-in" to everything we do. Your Jewish journey should not be a solitary one. We organize our gatherings in a very intentional way so new faces quickly become old friends. If you arrive alone, you will leave feeling seen and known.

Repair the World

As partners in creation, we all are hard-wired to seek meaning and purpose. Our community harnesses this power for good through regular volunteer opportunities. Come be a part of a motivated and mobilized community that cares.

Playing Together; A Reflection on Hope Amidst Conflict

If you will indulge me for a moment, I want to walk you through a memory of mine. It’s a memory from my year in Israel as a first-year rabbinical student.
